Things to know about Yoga
Preparing for class
Preparing for class
- Feel free to come to class 10-15 minutes early, to allow yourself to settle in.
- Please leave your mobile in your car or put it on airplane mode.
- Remove your socks and shoes, we practice in our bare feet.
- Wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely.
- Yoga mats are provided, but you are welcome to bring your own.
- If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to ask! Our teachers will be happy to help either before or after class, or during the session when possible.
- If you have a specific health issue (such as an illness, injury, or medical condition), please consult your healthcare professional before starting yoga. Feel free to skip or modify poses to accommodate your individual needs.
- Yoga is a holistic practice that strengthens the body, calms the mind, and helps us embrace the meaningful aspects of life. Whether you're attending to get fitter or de-stress, you may discover many other benefits along the way.
- Yoga is non-competitive. Accept yourself where you are. It's okay to come out of a pose early or adjust to a more comfortable variation. The physical practice of yoga is not about “no pain, no gain”—in fact, your body responds best when treated with kindness, love, and acceptance.
- Please stay for the entire class. If you need to leave early, tell the teacher beforehand and exit before final relaxation.
- Feel free to get in touch with us here.
