Margaret CoulterI have been doing yoga since 2002, as a way to de stress from the pressure working full time as a Specialist Nurse in Tissue Viability in NHS. My first 4 years were an Astanga practice which, with its rigorous physical form of training, provided exactly what I needed. As time went on I realised the many other aspects of Yoga and their benefits.
Throughout my yoga journey I have been inspired by the work and dedication of Amy Matthews, Donna Farhi and Lisa Petersen. They helped me to develop my own personal practice and passion for the developmental movement patterns and somatic enquiry. All of which have become pivotal to how I move in life and my daily yoga practice. My intention is to provide classes which will be relaxed yet purposeful with careful attention to anatomy and that all important Functional Movement. My experience so far has shown me that yoga practice must be tailored to suit each individual and to get in touch with their bodies, their breath and their heart. |
